When you live in WaterGrass, you get to have the community feel you have always wanted, along with a big city nearby. Tampa has many different attractions to offer the whole family, and is only a quick drive away.

The Tampa Museum of Art is a great trip to make with the whole family. Here you can expose your children to true works of art. The Museum’s collection includes: photography, Greek and Roman antiques, paintings, recent acquisitions, sculptures, and works on paper.

While you’re there, let the artist in your kids come alive. Every Saturday, the Museum offers a program called The Art Spot from 11am-2 pm. You can drop in as you please and let your kids explore their creative side by creating an art project in the Golding-Scher classroom. Each art project is self-guided and the gallery-related monthly themes offer a different art activity each week. Admission is free for this activity, but regular admission costs apply to view the galleries. No registration is required.

Other educational programs are also offered at the Museum. They have a range of programs for adults, children and families, teens, teachers and more. For more information, see their educational programs site.
