MOSILiving at WaterGrass lets you have a great time without having to drive far. Located only a quick drive from Tampa, take a day trip to the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI).

MOSI has over 450 hands-on activities and is the largest science center in the southeastern United States. There is tons to do here! Kids In Charge! is an area where kid learn through playing. Disasterville is a 10,000 square foot exhibition where you brave extreme weather conditions and see the science behind tornados, hurricanes, wildfires, and more. MOSI also offers a Bio Works Butterfly Garden, where you and your kids can enjoy many different kinds of free-flying butterflies. Don’t forget to stop by the High Wire Bike, The Amazing You human body exhibition, The Saunders Planetarium, plus Florida’s only IMAX Done Theatre.

According to one Yelp user, “This museum is really cool and interactive. They have a really big children’s section with plenty to see and do. My son had fun being blown away in the tornado exhibit and we both got blown away in the hurricane exhibit before going home. They also have a cool exhibit with a demonstration of an earthquake and a building you can make, and another exhibit with a building in a hurricane that you create and blow down.”
