John Gallagher, Pasco County Administrator, says plans for the Cypress Creek Outlet Mall could be filed by the end of the summer, with a projected 2013 or 2014 opening. The mall will bring even more exciting growth to the Wesley Chapel area, where Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel will open in September, and the new Pasco Hernando Community College is being constructed in WireGrass.

The Cypress Creek Outlet Mall will be constructed at I-75 & SR 54/56. It will likely include 1 million square feet of retail and restaurant space.

The mall is expected to bring:
• 6,102 full and part time jobs
• $23,754,969 in sales and property taxes
• $1,516,671 for the school board

Check out this interview with Gallagher, where he talks about what an exciting time it is for Pasco County.
