WaterGrass Waterfall DayWe are now hearing what every potential new homebuyer loves to hear: “Let’s state it simply and forcibly: Housing is back.” Fortune Magazine reports that the US is poised for a real estate comeback, per Mike Castleman, President of Metrostudy, a real-time data-tracking company that collects information on the housing market to track trends. Buyers can shop with confidence that they are in the market at the right time. The Fortune article, “Real estate: It’s time to buy again,” reports that a few main factors show us why the comeback is predicted.

  • New construction homes that are available to buy (vacant, for sale, or under construction) have dropped considerably, well below 10 years ago. This means demand could start outpacing supply—more people will want to buy than the homes that are available, which leads to a potential rise in prices.
  • Prices are currently experiencing a decline—30%  lower nationwide than in 2006 (and in some markets up to 55% lower). This also should bring more homebuyers to the market.

So take Fortune Magazine‘s advice and “beat the crowd.” Set up an appointment to check out WaterGrass now!
