For Florida residents, including those of Seven Oaks, the warm temperatures and many attractions make it convenient to take advantage of the increasingly popular “staycation.”

Without having to purchase an expensive plane ticket or make extensive vacationing plans, staycations can be an ideal way to spend downtime with your family. For residents of Seven Oaks, the possibilities are endless.

Florida residents can take advantage of the many specials and discounts offered by Disney World this summer. From August 9 until October 1, Florida residents may take advantage of a 36% discount on rooms at select Disney Moderate Resorts, paying only $55 per night (except 8/19/09- 8/21/09). The benefits of staying in a Disney Resort Hotel include extended theme park hours and complimentary guest transportation.

The membership includes Theme Park restaurants, including Character Dining, Pizzafari, Crystal Palace and Resort restaurants like California Grill. The benefits consist of a 20% discount on all food and beverages at over 70 participating Resort hotel and Theme Park restaurants (for up to 10 guests), Resort and Theme Park parking, invitations to member-only food and wine events, celebrity chef dinners and winemaker dinners and much more!

Want to make a day trip? Florida residents can get the Disney Play 4 Days pass for only $160 plus tax. This allows residents to have admissions to any of the four Walt Disney World® Theme Parks, one Park per day. The pass is available for use any four days for six months after the first use.

For families who want a break from the warm Florida temps, the Water Parks After 2 pm Annual Pass gives you access to two water parks – Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach – all year round, anytime after 2 p.m. Ages 10 and older pay only $59 while children ages 3 to 9 pay just $47.20 (plus tax).
